1. Who we are

GoBurden is a creator monetisation platform that lets you earn commissions by sharing affiliate offers with your audience. References to “GoBurden”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in this policy mean the GoBurden platform and its operators.

2. What we collect

When you create an account we collect:

• Your name, phone number, and email address.
• Payment details you provide (UPI ID or bank account) solely for processing withdrawals.
• Social account information you voluntarily connect (username, follower count, profile picture) to show on your creator profile.

When you use the platform we automatically collect:

• Click and conversion data tied to your tracking links so we can calculate your earnings.
• Device type, IP address, and browser/app identifier for security and fraud prevention.
• Notification tokens if you opt in to push notifications.

3. How we use your data

• Account & service delivery — to create your account, process OTP verification, and show you your dashboard.
• Earnings & payouts — to track conversions, calculate commissions, and transfer money to your bank or UPI.
• Notifications — to alert you about new offers, withdrawal updates, and support replies.
• Security — to detect fraud, prevent unauthorised access, and rate-limit suspicious activity.
• Legal compliance — to meet our obligations under Indian law, including GST invoicing where applicable.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data sharing

We share your data only when necessary:

• Payment processors — your UPI ID or bank details are shared with our payment partner solely to execute withdrawals.
• SMS provider — your phone number is shared with our OTP SMS gateway (Fast2SMS) to deliver verification codes.
• Brand partners — offer brands receive anonymised conversion statistics (click count, conversion count, payout amounts). They never receive your personal contact details unless you explicitly agree.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose data if required by a court order or applicable law.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations. If you request account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, retaining only anonymised transaction records required by law.

6. Your rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

7. Cookies & tracking

We use a single httpOnly session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell behavioural data.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use Redis-backed OTP rate limiting to prevent brute-force attacks.

9. Children

GoBurden is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
